Strategic intelligence
for a world
in transition.

Multi-layered strategic intelligence. A prism, not a lens.

Strategic Intelligence Lab is a multidisciplinary intelligence lab for senior decision-makers. We weave together geopolitics, artificial intelligence, economics, real estate, cities, infrastructure and demographics into a single system view, before the decision, not after.

The news is the thinnest layer
of reality.

The friction between layers Where risk and opportunity are born →

The problem is not a shortage of information.
The problem is the absence of a system view.

Decision-makers today do not suffer from a lack of information, they live in an excess of noise. Headlines, reports, forecasts, data, presentations and opinions. But a good decision does not require knowing everything; it requires knowing what truly matters, what affects what, and which working assumption is no longer valid.

In a world where technology is reshaping real estate, geopolitics is shaking up insurance, energy is rewriting planning and demographics are changing the face of cities, a decision made from within a single field is, by definition, a decision based on a partial picture.

CONTRAST · 01
Others analyze a single field, real estate, economics, technology or geopolitics, in isolation.
The Strategic Intelligence Lab reads the points of friction between fields. That is where, and only where, the real risk and the real opportunity live.
CONTRAST · 02
Others provide information, reviews, reports, articles and lectures.
The Strategic Intelligence Lab provides a decision gauge: what matters, what is risky, what is moving and what must be asked.
CONTRAST · 03
Others talk about trends in the language of trends.
The Strategic Intelligence Lab translates trends into decisions: business, real estate, urban and strategic.
A torn newspaper revealing beneath it a multi-layered system map of cities, trade, energy and communications, viewed through a magnifying glass // EXPOSURE · LAYER 02 BENEATH THE HEADLINE

The headline is not the story.
It is the symptom.

Behind every major headline, a deeper movement is at work: a shift in power, infrastructure, demand, behavior, policy or risk.

The role of the Strategic Intelligence Lab is not to interpret the news, but to distill what it is about to change: in business, real estate, cities, investment and decision-making itself.

We do not chase trends.
We read the system that writes them.

Seven layers, three speeds,
one picture.

Resources, geopolitics and demographics (slow) · economics, real estate and infrastructure (intermediate) · technology and AI, consciousness and media (fast). Each layer looks like a separate field; in practice, it affects the others at every moment.

The Blue Pumpkin model, the lab's operating system, looks at all the layers simultaneously to locate the friction where risk and opportunity are born.

who refuse to decide on a partial picture.

Every significant decision rests on a collection of pieces. The missing pieces are, more often than not, the ones that will determine the outcome. The Strategic Intelligence Lab is built to expose them, before the price falls on you.

What is important to know before a briefing.

Q_01 How do you test a new strategy before deciding on it? +
Testing a new strategy before the decision is made takes five steps, following the Blue Pumpkin (S5) method:
  1. Frame the decision question: define exactly what is approved, what is rejected and what is left open.
  2. Map the working assumptions: list every assumption the strategy rests on, including those already considered "self-evident".
  3. Multi-layered scan: test the strategy against 7 layers (resources, geopolitics, demographics, economics, real estate, AI, media) and identify points of friction.
  4. Build scenarios: develop 3-4 possible scenarios, including a "counter" scenario that breaks the strategy.
  5. Must-answer questions and early signals: define what must be answered before the decision, and flag the signs that would require a return to review.
The result: a system-based decision framework, not an opinion, and not a reaction to noise.
Q_02 How do you choose a new investment target (real estate, a market, a technology)? +
Choosing an investment target requires a multi-layered review, not just a single-discipline analysis of expected returns. The Strategic Intelligence Lab scans the target under consideration across 7 layers:
  • Approaching regulatory changes (policy layer)
  • Opposing demographic shifts (population layer)
  • Infrastructure constraints: electricity, water, transportation, land
  • Changes in capital flows and interest rates (macro layer)
  • Narrative risk that could rewrite the thesis
  • Geopolitical friction in the supply chain
  • Second-order effects of AI adoption on demand
The goal: to expose what is not yet on the table, before it gets priced in.
Q_03 What should you check before entering a new market or launching a new product? +
Before launching a new product or entering a new market, check three things across all 7 layers:
  1. Where the current friction lies between layers in the target market, because that is where the real risk and opportunity are.
  2. Which assumptions in the launch plan depend on a layer considered stable but actually moving (for example: regulation, energy, demographics).
  3. Which early signals already exist on the ground and contradict the plan, but have not yet reached market reports.
Most launch failures are not failures of strategy. They are failures of situational awareness: the change was not seen before it cut into the outcome.
Q_04 What is a strategic briefing and who is it for? +
A strategic briefing is a 60-90 minute session with management, the board or the investment committee, before a significant decision: a land acquisition, entry into a new market, a product launch, a major investment or a board decision. The briefing delivers a deep map of forces, early signals, a challenge to working assumptions, must-answer questions and clear decision directions. It is not a trends presentation, it is a working tool for making a decision.

Suited for: CEOs and boards, real estate developers and institutional investors, heads of local authorities and public bodies, technology and infrastructure companies entering new markets, and content creators (media, podcasts).
Q_05 What is the difference between strategic foresight and a forecast? +
A forecast assumes the future is a continuation of the present, and produces the single most likely path. Strategic foresight assumes the future is a navigable space, and produces a range of plausible scenarios with the assumptions that govern each one.

The Strategic Intelligence Lab practices foresight: not guessing what will happen, but a structured view of what could happen, and which decision each possibility requires today.
Q_06 What is the Blue Pumpkin method (S5)? +
Blue Pumpkin is the lab's proprietary method for reading complex systems. It has five sequential steps that translate global movement into a concrete decision question:
  1. Signal: what happened, and what is everyone seeing?
  2. System: which deep system is moving underneath?
  3. Stakes: who is affected, and what is at stake?
  4. Scenarios: where could this go?
  5. Strategy: which decisions does this change now?
The result: a system-based decision framework, not a reaction to noise.
Q_07 What is the difference between strategic intelligence and Business Intelligence (BI)? +
Business Intelligence (BI) deals with internal data: sales, performance, day-to-day operations. BI says "what is happening inside our organization".

Strategic intelligence deals with external data and the connections between them: geopolitics, AI, macroeconomics, demographics, real estate, media and narrative. Strategic intelligence says "what is moving in the world that has not yet reached the reports, but will affect every decision in the coming year".
Q_08 How is a strategic briefing different from regular business consulting? +
Business consulting analyzes one field and provides an opinion or recommendation. A Strategic Intelligence Lab briefing connects multiple fields, geopolitics × technology × economics × demographics × cities, and delivers a map of forces, scenarios and must-answer questions before the decision.

Consulting → an opinion. A briefing → a system view and a decision framework.
Q_09 What are the 7 layers the lab tracks? +
The seven layers of the Blue Pumpkin model, arranged at three speeds:

Slow layers (decades): (1) Resources and environment: energy, water, climate, raw materials; (2) Geopolitics and power: supply chains, technological sovereignty; (3) Demographics and society: migration, generations, habits.

Intermediate layers (years to a decade): (4) Economics and capital: interest rates, markets, employment; (5) Real estate and infrastructure: land, cities, space.

Fast layers (real time): (6) Technology and AI: AI adoption, data centers; (7) Consciousness, narrative and media: public opinion, collective story.

The real value lies in the friction between layers that advance at different speeds.
Q_10 Who leads the Strategic Intelligence Lab? +

An expert in geopolitical strategy, macroeconomics and global trends, she focuses on the new world order, the global economy and how technology, artificial intelligence and corporate giants are redrawing the map of power. She has written for Globes, TheMarker and Calcalist since 2020, and is a commentator on Israeli television channels.
